Appointment

Franklins Plumbers & Builders
Supplies Limited (In Liquidation) (''the Company'') was placed into liquidation
on 5 August 2024 at 8:00am by a special resolution of shareholders pursuant to Section 241(2)(a) of the Companies Act 1993 (“the Act”).

Raymond Paul Cox (Registration Number IP94) Gareth Russel Hoole (Registration Number IP26), and Clive Robert Bish (Registration Number IP64)

Why did Franklins go into liquidation?

After 69 years of providing premium bathroomware and plumbing supplies, Franklins has faced significant challenges due to the hanging landscape of the building industry and the current state of the economy. What does liquidation mean for Franklins?

The principal duty of the Liquidators to take possession of, protect, realise, and distribute the assets, or the proceeds of the realisation of the assets, of the company to its creditors in accordance with the Companies Act.

The Liquidators are considering several options including a sale of the business and assets of the Company to potential interested parties and or a managed winding up of the business and sale of stock at discounted prices.
