In 1954, in the factory of Schlösser fittings in Olpe, the manufacture of valves for modern home automation began. Even today, they are the focus of production – and convince through high-quality materials, high functionality and great reliability.

After being founded by Johann Schlösser, the factory in Sauerland became one of the most important employers in the city on the Biggesee until the end of the 1950s. At the center of production were initially shut-off valves and water meters. Today Schlösser are a global power house in valving production.
